My good character is a role model for others for a few different reasons. For instance, I am very mature for my age because I grew up with 3 older siblings and I have experienced things that many kids my age haven’t. Also, Many younger kids look up to me so I make sure I am setting a good example every minute of the day. Furthermore, I have a good reputation and I’m not known for doing bad things.
I love to do things for my community. For example, I have volunteered at my church many times. And I participate in fundraisers for all kinds of groups, Such as Dance, Girl scouts, school, and church. Also, I have gone to the nursing home many times to entertain the residents. Finally, I was a Safety for my elementary school in 5th grade. I was in charge of all of the other safeties and I had to make sure every thing ran smoothly and that all of the kids got on their buses safety.
Me and my next door neighbor have been friends since we were 2. And He has a heart problem so his speech is not that great. I am one of the few people who can fully understand him. Many people tease him because of his condition and his voice but through all of these years I have stuck up for him and stood by his side. Little things like helping people and sticking up for a friend are things I do on a daily basis. Many people don’t realize how good it feels to help someone. But it pays off when you see the smile on people’s faces after you do something like this.

very nice. I hope you make it to NJHS. Mom
Good job Court! I'm very proud of you! I was in NJHS, too. I'm sad I missed your dance recital yesterday. I think this is the first one I've missed! I'll have to watch the video when I come home in July.
i am sure the recital was great, i can't believe we missed it, but we will have to have a viewing party when you get the dvd.
you are a very special person and this essay is wonderful, but it only touches on some of the great things about you. you inspire me and i look up to you, i wish i had been as wise as you are at your age.
good luck with njhs! love you lots!
